Depression in Phoenix

Depression is on the rise in light of the economic pressure of today. However, there are many reasons that you may become depressed, such as changes and stressful events, trauma and grief, health conditions, gender, genetics, and age. If you have been depressed for longer than 2 weeks you may need to see a doctor to discuss treatment. Sometimes depression is difficult to detect.

Some of the symptoms of Depression are:

sadness
sleep changes (can't sleep or too much)
feelings of hopelessness or helplessness
loss of energy, fatigue
weight problems, gaining or losing too much
agitation and doing things more slowly
feeling worthless or guilty
loss of interest for normal activities
negative thoughts or thoughts of suicide

To see if you may have depression or tendancies you may want to take the following test. This test is not meant to replace a visit to a mental health professional. You may want to take the results of this test to a doctor so that you may discuss it with your doctor.

Pharmaceutical companies are busy making mind altering drugs. In the United States, we take more medications than all the countries in the world COMBINED.

With some people, depression starts in their mother’s womb. If your mother is depressed, doesn’t want to have a child, tries to have an abortion, uses drugs or alcohol, fights and argues with spouse, or is raped, then her experiences and stresses are going into your mind. Your mind starts to be programmed at forty days of conception. Your body is the size of a finger, and through the umbilical cord, you’re feeling your mother’s likes, and dislikes, even when it comes to food. You’ve heard of “crack babies, or alcoholic babies,” you can be born with an addiction or even depression.

No matter how much counseling a person has, you have to get to the root of the problem. That’s what my program will help you do. I bring you back into the womb “mentally”, take out the bad programming, and put in a new “happy” program. Not everyone has had bad experiences in the womb. If your mother was happy and not depressed, then you started off with a good foundation.

During some of my sessions you’ll hear me refer to myself as “Contractor Sam, building a new foundation in your mind” or “Farmer Sam… pulling out your weeds in your mind.” With the help of the Lord, I’ve been able to help thousands and thousands of people. God Will Help me help you. And I’m so very thankful that God is using me in a very powerful way to help people dealing with their pain and suffering.

Everything starts in the foundation, the good and the bad. All your problems are like straws. They keep adding up, and then something minor flips you out of control. Is a pill the answer, or is having someone teach you how to understand your problems? That’s what God wants me to do. GOD WILL HELP me help you.

Other problems that add up after birth. These problems are all written in the Bible:

* Your sister or brother got more attention
* Your mother or father didn’t give enough love
* You came from an environment of fighting, arguing, drinking, being physically or sexually abused
* Business failures
* Your family members and friends taking money and not paying it back

Some people have had wonderful parents - most people didn’t. If you carry resentment and anger, like your parents may have had, you’re not likely to have a very happy life.
You will always be looking for a “magic pill” to fix everything, which leads to drug addictions, alcoholism, overeating and many other terrible problems.

Many people tell me that they cannot forgive their parents or other people that have hurt them. I tell them, “… by not forgiving them, they are still hurting you mentally”. When you forgive them, you become a better person, and that’s what God wants you to do. “For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins” Mathew 6:14-15. If you stop and think, the people that hurt you, in most cases, were physically and emotionally hurt themselves while growing up, maybe even worse than you. Jesus said, “Father forgive them for they know not what they are doing.” Luke 23:34. It’s a chain reaction; you have to break that chain now, and set yourself free.

If you are not a Christian, and don’t believe in Jesus’ teachings, try forgiving and letting go anyway, and see what happens. You’ll be amazed at the power of forgiveness.
